Light a Candle
LeRoy Jacob Wolf Jr. died suddenly on December 24, 2012 at age 59. He was born on November 11, 1953 on the USAF base in Pleasanton, CA. He was a longtime resident of Lodi and then of San Andreas.
He retired from a long career as a driver for UPS out of the Stockton hub and then Angels Camp location for a total of 29 years of service. LeRoy made friends very easily and had the gift of words and everyone he met became a friend. He never missed a chance to share a warm smile with everyone he met and relished in long conversations. LeRoy had an extraordinarily big heart and well known for his generosity.
His hobbies included collecting UPS memorabilia, watching old movies and talking to friends and family on the phone. One of his passions was to research and preserve his family history. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and worked on his cars in his earlier years and had an impressive gun and coin collection.
LeRoy adored his family. He is preceded in death by his father, LeRoy J. Wolf Sr., his mother, Grace Marie (Saulsbury) Wolf, and his sister Sandra Marie McClaine.
He is survived by his son, LeRoy Jacob Wolf III (Amy) of Galt, daughter Amanda Maldonado (Israel) of Lodi and grandchildren, Madison Maldonado, Mason Maldonado, LeRoy Jacob Wolf IV, and Elizabeth Wolf. He had many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Lodi area.
